By the end of this section, you’ll have a strong theoretical understanding of the procedure.

Glow Box Overview: I’ll introduce you to the Glow Box, a specially curated kit that includes all the tools and materials you’ll use throughout the course. This hands-on demonstration ensures you know how to effectively utilize each tool.

Dermaplaning Tool Handling: You’ll learn how to correctly handle the dermaplaning tool, safely insert and remove the blade, and ensure you’re using it effectively. Proper tool handling is crucial for delivering safe and professional treatments.

Demonstration on Model: To give you a clear understanding of the technique, I’ll perform the dermaplaning procedure on a model. You’ll observe the process step-by-step, from prep to execution, in real time.

Student Practice: After observing the demonstration, you’ll have the opportunity to practice the dermaplaning technique on your own model. I’ll guide you throughout the process to ensure you’re confident and precise in your application.

Personal Experience (Optional): If you’ve never had a dermaplaning session, I can perform one on you during the course. This gives you a chance to feel how the blade works on your skin and better understand the experience from a client’s perspective.

Sanitation Procedures: We’ll cover proper sanitation and hygiene protocols, ensuring that you maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety when working with clients.

Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, you’ll receive an official certificate of training. This certification demonstrates your ability to offer professional dermaplaning treatments to clients with confidence.
