The caption is long, yes but it’s probably relatable to most - try to read to the end 💜 The past couple of weeks have been very hard. I honestly did not feel like myself at all. I was unsure of how things with my business will be over the coming weeks, had multiple losses within my personal life and what seemed to be constant bad news. With so many things happening and still having to try to figure out what’s next for Glow By D, I felt lost. I went to the gym daily, tried to have a couple extra self care days (which I normally do once a month) but I couldn’t seem to find happiness in the things that normally bring me joy. On a day that I had a last minute rescheduling, I sat in my spa, my space, and just took in my surroundings. Just being at my place ( Glow By D ) and looking around, remembering where I started and seeing where I’ve reached brought back all the joy I had been missing! Being here, seeing my clients, editing my videos, cleaning my space, or just researching new products and services is what I love. I realized that even though this year has started out rough (for many people I’m sure) this place is my happiness. I lost sight of that by being wrapped up in all the negatives. Running a business has its ups and downs and trying to juggle your personal life into that is honestly one of the hardest things to manage, but at the end, it’s so worth it. The journey is worth it.
